Camp Jam's Rock Music Camp Rolls Into 17 Cities Across North America This Summer

Popular Summer Music Camp Program For Kids Ages 7-17 Adds Overnight And Day Camps In 2 New Cities

ATLANTA, Ga. - Camp Jam, America’s most comprehensive summer rock music camp for kids and teens ages 7 to 17, announced today that it will rock and roll into two new cities across the U.S. this summer. Debuting in Atlanta in 2004 and expanding into 17 cities over the past six years, the summer camp sensation with the mantra “No Canoes, Lots of Rock” will now offer new day and overnight sessions in Long Island, NY and San Francisco, CA along with an additional overnight camp in the D.C. area.

Founded by original guitarist/songwriter of platinum selling act 38 Special, Jeff Carlisi, and his longtime friend and business associate, Dan Lipson, Camp Jam quickly gained national prominence as an innovative summer camp alternative and has received extensive media coverage from major news outlets like NBC Nightly News, CNN, People, Time Magazine and The Los Angeles Times. Most recently, Camp Jam's week-long overnight rock camp was also featured on  MTV’s Camp’d Out – I’m Going to Rock Camp.

“Our goal is to give young musicians a fun environment and special place designed just for them, where they can meet and play alongside others their age, improve skills, build confidence and let them rock it out on a stage under the lights and in front of a crowd," said Camp Jam Co-Founder, Jeff Carlisi. "The new markets we're entering in 2010 will allow us to provide this opportunity to even more kids, and we’ve chosen cities with an incredible depth of young talent and that have historically produced great rock ‘n’ roll music.”

Camp Jam is now accepting registration for all 2010 summer sessions in a total of 17 cities from coast to coast including: Atlanta, Birmingham, Chicago, Cleveland, Dallas, DC Area, Denver, Fairfield, Houston, Long Island (Hofstra U), Montreal, Orange County, Orlando, Phoenix, Pittsburgh, San Francisco Area and St. Louis.
