The latest installment of “David Ellefson’s ROCK SHOP” recording workshop, entitled “Making A Recording”.

The Rock House Artist/Instructor has put together another webisode to help other musicians with his tips on recording by taking them through a step by step process of the basics of putting together a recording.


In this third part of the series David talks with session drummer Randy Walker about the nuances of recording drums as well as tuning, microphones & placement, and playing to a click track.

Some very kewl stuff here! David talks about click tracks and the need to sometimes play just ahead or behind the click rather than on top all of the time. Check it out!
