Rock House Artist/Instructor Albert Margolis - Interview on YouRockRadioD1

It's been a while since I have wrote anything about Albert Margolis. The Rock House Artist/Instructor for Keyboards did an interview with his buddy Dennis Logan of The Dennis Logan Band. Albert brings everyone up to date on what he has been up to lately and you can hear some songs that he has done various artist.


For those of you who don't know Albert he is a musical chameleon who has dazzled listeners in over 1000 live performances and lent his fleet-fingered keyboard and piano work to numerous musicians in their studio recording sessions. The list of performers Albert has worked with is a Who's Who of significant artists and songwriters whose careers span the past 40 years. Artist such as Leo Nocentelli (The Meters, the legendary New Orleans Funk quartet that received Grammy's lifetime achievement award in 2001.), Richard Street (The Temptations), Ivan Neville (Rolling Stones), The Drifters, Oteil Burbridge (The Allman Brothers), John Avila & Johnny Vatos (Oingo Boingo), Joe Louis Walker, Karl Denson, Darryl Johnson (The Neville Bros./ Daniel Lanios), Tony Braunagle (Bonnie Raitt / Taj Mahal), Evan Stone (John Tesh), Blind Dog (Laurie Records), Kelly Mcguire, Cubic Feet(Warner Chappell) and The Strand (Wasp records).

Over the years Albert has had the opportunity to perform at legendary events and venues such as The New Orleans Jazz Heritage Festival, the renowned Tipitina's in New Orleans and The Filmore in San Francisco, CBGB's and Tramps in New York City, the Pier Six Concert Pavillion in Balimore, Maryland, the House of Blues on the Sunset Strip and at the CMJ conference New York. Albert has shared stages with such diverse veterans as James Brown, Joan Osborne, Jackson Browne, Average White Band, The Bellamy Brothers and Galactic.
