Fender Musical Instruments Corp. and Mad Catz®, the official third-party developer of Rock Band™ peripherals and accessories, have come together to co-develop a full-scale, wooden Stratocaster replica controller to be used in Harmonix Music Systems’ wildly-successful Rock Band™ video games.

The controller will be the only wooden replica controller compatible with the Xbox gaming platform and is sure to become an instant collector’s item. Available in Three-Color Sunburst, the controller is compatible with Rock Band, Rock Band 2, and The Beatles Game; as well as other rhythm and music video game titles.

Rock Band™, the music video game that has allowed people to live out their inner rock god fantasies on guitar, bass, drums, and vocals, alone or with their friends, was developed by Harmonix Music Systems and MTV Games, and distributed by Electronic Arts for the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 2, Wii, and PSP game systems.
