Doug Wimbish and Steve Chick at Industrial Radio have joined forces to create Doug's own model of Midi Bass. Born from a 24-year friendship between two masters at their crafts, the new baby will feature: a rock maple neck / alder body, coated with the dark blue / black transparent finish similar to Doug's signature Spector.

Born from a 24-year friendship between two masters at their crafts, the new baby will feature: a rock maple neck / alder body, coated with the dark blue / black transparent finish similar to Doug's signature Spector.
The new Midi Bass is under construction. Steve has informed us that he already cut the neck and fingerboard and they are next to be glued. He has picked out a perfect alder body blank, that will be machined up in the next couple of days and finished the electronics for the bass already so it should not be too long now until Doug receives his new instrument.
Doug, who is a long time Rock House Instructor will be posting pictures on his My Space upon arrival, along with an extensive specs sheet and a few words of introduction from Doug.
