Elixir Announces New Electric 7-String Guitar Sets

Good news for the ever increasingly popular 7-string guitar world. Elixir Strings announced at NAMM 2010 that they are going to release their new 7-string electric set in mid January of this year.

According to a press release from the company "The new 7-string set includes a 0.056 low B string to provide additional tonal range. The ultra-thin NANOWEB® Coating on the wound strings, coupled with Anti-Rust plain steels, ensure players experience the same great tone and long life they have come to expect from Elixir Strings."

"The new 7-string set is a great addition to the Elixir Strings electric family,” says Craig Theorin, product manager for Elixir Strings. “Now, 7-string electric players can enjoy all of the advantages that our NANOWEB Coating provides, while still enjoying an extended range of sound."
