There is a web site http://www.freejamtracks.com/ that is dedicated to making free jam tracks.
There not much info about the site or the owner other than he makes the tracks himself.
There are jam tracks for guitar, bass and Drums. Check it out!

I checked out some of these tracks for bass. There's a wide variety of styles to choose from. Probably be good for practicing alone.
