I have to admit. I have a lot of interest in the upcoming election. I'm not going to get into who I'm supporting right now, but I do feel it's an important enough election that some sort of article to promote voter registration is appropriate.
Tomorrow I'll be posting about the candidates. The important thing right now is to get registered to vote.
Why vote? There's a lot of reasons. Reasons like it's time to inspire. Time to lead. Time to seek peace. Time to be courageous. Time to be outraged. Time to believe. Time to fight for what is right. Time to think. Time to make history.
I invite everyone to comment on issues that are important to them. Issues that you feel inspire you to vote for one candidate or the other.
So hit the link below and take the first step in changing the direction of this great country of ours and register to vote.

OK, so nobody comes to your house and locks you up if you don't vote. Your name won't appear in the newspaper and the nightly news won't talk about you for not voting. In fact, hardly anyone will know whether you vote or not. So, why vote?
Simple. It's your duty.
It's not simply a privilege. It's not just a right. It's your duty to take a part in electing your leaders. You owe it to yourself and to your country to do this one thing.
If your town has an election for dog catcher, and you don't vote, when the elected dog catcher erroneously picks up your dog you have nobody to blame but yourself.
If you fail to vote for the president of this country, it's your fault if the U.S.A. takes a nose dive.
If you don't vote, don't complain to me later. You lost your chance to voice an opinion when you snoozed on election day.
Who should you vote for? The answer is simple. The candidate which best exemplifies your beliefs and positions on the issues you care about the most.
Well stated Stormy. Thanks for the comment!
